Lack of a motion results in failure to provide permit for outdoor music festival
(Seguin) -- The promoter of an outdoor music festival being planned on the county's east side did not get the permit he was looking for. After a two hour public hearing, the Guadalupe County Commissioner's Court Tuesday afternoon took no motion on his request for a mass gathering at Cool River Ranch during the Thanksgiving weekend. Cool River Ranch sits along the San Marcos River near the Guadalupe and Caldwell County border. With no motion, the county effectively denied the permit that was requested by Joe Flanagan.
