Fire destroys part of home on the city's south side
(Seguin) -- A fire managed to rip through a home in Seguin Tuesday morning. Seguin Fire Officials say the fire occurred just before 11:30 a.m. at the home located in the 5000 block of Bluebonnet Street.

Navarro Junior High Band earns top spot in CD recording competition
(Geronimo) -- The Navarro Junior High School Purple Band has earned the number one spot in the state for Class CC Bands in the Association of Small School Bands Outstanding Performance Series in the March category.
