Former Navarro standout Bormann chosen in MLB Draft, makes C-USA All-Tournament and All-Academic for UTSA
(San Antonio) – Navarro High School graduate John Bormann, now a college baseball standout at the University of Texas – San Antonio, was selected by the Los Angeles Angels in the 19th round of the Major League Baseball First-Year Player Draft on Saturday.  

TLU baseball camps in June
(Seguin) – Texas Lutheran University has baseball camps remaining for two age groups during the month of June.  

TLU softball doubleheader vs. Linfield rained out

(Seguin) - The Texas Lutheran softball team will have to wait at least one additional day to open the newly built Morck Field at Ed Kruse Stadium on the TLU campus, as Wednesday's non-conference doubleheader against Linfield College was cancelled due to rain.

Seguin boys’ soccer falls in opening round of 4A playoffs

(New Braunfels) – The Seguin High School boys’ soccer team was unable to extend head coach Ed Perry’s final season with the program Tuesday night in the bi-district round of the Class-4A playoffs. The Matadors suffered a 3-0 loss to Boerne-Champion at Unicorn Stadium in New Braunfels.
