(Seguin) -- Seguin High School has plenty to cheer about. Suzanne Zink, Seguin High School head cheerleading coach, has been named a 2016-2017 5A/6A Cheerleading Coach of the Year by the Texas Girls Coaches Association. Zink, who started her career as an assistant dance instructor and part-time teacher, says she's excited about the honor, and couldn't believe the news when she first received word from a friend. More

Instead of rushing, the Guadalupe County Commissioners Court would like for residents to instead slow down and carefully get the job done. The request by the Guadalupe County Fire Marshal's Office to implement a burn ban for the unincorporated areas of Guadalupe County, failed due to the lack of a second. More

(San Antonio) – The Navarro girls basketball team stormed back from a 23-point, third-quarter deficit to pull within four points of Hondo with 1:46 to play in Tuesday’s 4A bi-district playoff game, but the Owls hit five free throws in the closing stretch to eliminate the Panthers 45-36 at the Dub Farris Complex in San Antonio.
