Narcotics agents seize drugs, property at area home

(Marion) -- Drugs were again discovered at an area home just one year after the location was seized by the Guadalupe County Narcotics Division. Officials say a man and a woman were both arrested following the execution of three felony arrest warrants out of Bexar County. The incident involves a home located in the 9500 block of Green Valley Road in Marion.

(Seguin) -- The family of Monica Gallegos is inviting the Seguin community to a candlelight vigil tonight in memory of the young mother killed one year ago by her boyfriend.

(Seguin) -- The Caterpillar Seguin facility is adding a new product line. A small ceremony was held recently to celebrate the launch of a new Power Gen -- gas and diesel generator sets assembly line and test area.

(Boerne) – With the District 26-5A softball regular season in the books, Seguin, Lockhart, and Medina Valley find themselves gridlocked in a three-way tie for second place in the standings. When the teams drew numbers on Wednesday to determine playoff seeding, fortune frowned on Seguin, relegating the Matadors to the fourth seed behind No. 2 Lockhart and No. 3 Medina Valley.

(Marble Falls) – The Seguin High School baseball scored all four of its runs in the top of the seventh inning Tuesday night to snap a three-game losing streak in District 26-5A with a 4-1 road victory at Marble Falls.

Marion baseball rallies past Schulenburg for district road win

(Schulenburg) – Marion catcher Tucker Woods tagged a Schulenburg runner headed for the plate on a throw from centerfielder Tayler Mills for the final out in the bottom of the ninth inning Tuesday night to preserve the Bulldogs’ 4-3 road win over the Shorthorns in District 27-3A play.
