(Schertz) -- The driver involved in a deadly high speed chase Friday is being charged with murder. Guadalupe County Sheriff Arnold Zwicke says the charges of evading arrest have been upgraded to murder for 19-year old Anthony Randy Taylor, of New Braunfels. Taylor reportedly was the driver of the vehicle when it crashed -- killing his passenger 18-year old Robert Pratt, of Universal City.

(Seguin) -- They don't wear a badge but at home, law and order typically begins with mom. That might be perhaps why the Seguin Police Department felt it was most fitting to launch a special Mother's Day video on its Facebook page on Sunday. Starring and sharing the details behind that video is Carlos Contreras, the public information officer for the Seguin PD. In the video, Officer Contreras is seen doing his job while mom, RosaLinda, tags along for the ride.

(New Braunfels) -- A Guadalupe County man has been identified as the victim of a vehicle vs pedestrian fatality in New Braunfels. Dave Ferguson, the New Braunfels Police Department communications coordinator, says the victim is David Anthony Teniente Jr., 19, of Schertz.

(Seguin) -- It's taking a little while longer to clear up a jack-knifed 18-wheeler on I-10 in Seguin.
Seguin police officers say the westbound lanes near the 609 mile marker will be closed for a couple of hours Tuesday morning due to the early morning accident. Motorists are encouraged to find an alternate route while the Seguin PD works to clear the scene.
