Seguin PD to welcome new technology designed to help solve, predict crimes

(Seguin) -- Predicting criminal activity and even performing link analysis on individuals, much like what is seen on TV shows like NCIS will soon be making its way into the Seguin Police Department. That's according to Bruce Ure, deputy chief for the Seguin Police Department. Ure says The Seguin Police Department is proud to announce that it has been selected for a federal grant through the Office of the Governor's Criminal Justice Division worth almost $100,000.

(Seguin) -- The forecast is calling for more people in Guadalupe County's future. Guadalupe County Judge Kyle Kutscher who recently helped the county adopt its budget and tax rate says all signs point to even more significant growth for the county.

(Seguin) -- The Seguin Area Chamber of Commerce is celebrating the synergy that existed in Seguin over the last year. It's a shared effort that is making it easier for high school students to get the skills they need to find good careers and jobs that exist right here in their hometown.

(Lockhart) – Seguin survived deficits of 14 points in the first quarter and 10 points in the fourth period to surge past Lockhart for a 31-27 gut-check win on the opening night of the District 26-5A football schedule at Lions Stadium.

Seguin volleyball sweeps Lockhart for third straight district win
(Lockhart) – Seguin volleyball extended its District 26-5A winning streak to three matches with a 3-0 road sweep of Lockhart on Friday, surviving the first set 27-25 before controlling the next two by finals of 25-19 and 25-13.
