Becky Breitenkamp and her father Robert Piper are among the families doing their part in helping their student prepare for this year's Guadalupe County Youth Livestock and Homemakers Show. The pair was helping to prep Belle, a Simmental heifer. The project will be shown this year by Navarro Freshman and FFA member Tristan Breitenkamp. The father, daughter duo say lending a hand is all about continuing the youth's show tradition of being a "family affair." (Seguin) -- The Texas Theatre will be offering a variety of performances during the first months of 2018, including plays and concerts featuring talent from across Texas. The first show of the year will be August Wilson's Pulitzer Prize winning play Fences. Set in 1950's Pittsburgh, Fences tells the story of the Maxson family's struggles. More |
