(Seguin) -- Early voting begins this week for the March 6 Republican and Democratic primary elections. In Guadalupe County, all of the locally contested races are on the Republican ballot. Doors open today for Showcase Seguin 2018

Seguin Area Chamber of Commerce officials work to get ready for this year's Showcase Seguin. The business expo opens Thursday in the Coliseum. Doors open at noon. The event is free. Thursday night's Main Event Party is $25 a person. Tickets are encouraged to be purchased in advance.
 
(Seguin) -- The Seguin business community will get to show off its talents today. That's because today is Showcase Seguin day. This year's theme for the business expo, to be held in the Seguin Coliseum, is "Seguin's Got Talent." The event is sponsored each year by the Seguin Area Chamber of Commerce.

Possible online threat gets attention of Seguin, nation

(Seguin) -- Despite what you might have read on Facebook, there's no threat being made against Seguin High School. The Seguin ISD and the Seguin Police Department both released statements last night over a post that suggested someone was making a threat against SHS.

Seguin City Council wanting to hear from the public about extending bar hours

(Seguin) -- The Seguin City Council is wrestling with the idea of whether or not it should allow bars to stay open later inside the city limits.

The council discussed allowing bars to stay open to 2 a.m. each night. It would be two hours later than what's allowed Sundays to Fridays, and one hour later than what's allowed on Saturday. The issue was brought forward by the Warehouse, a local bar and restaurant on South Austin Street in downtown Seguin.

(Wimberley) – Marion boys basketball looks to advance to the 3A regional quarterfinals for the first time since 2015 tonight when the Bulldogs face Comfort in an area-round matchup at Wimberley High School.

(Colorado Springs) - If the Texas Lutheran men's basketball program is to win its fourth consecutive Southern Collegiate Athletic Conference championship, the Bulldogs will have to knock off a higher seed in every round of this weekend's SCAC Tournament at Colorado College's Reed Arena.

Drgac, Schaefer earn SCAC Player of the Week awards

(Seguin) - Texas Lutheran Baseball swept this week's Southern Collegiate Athletic Conference Player of the Week awards as the conference announced Riley Schaefer as the Hitter of the Week and Dylan Drgac as Pitcher of the Week for games played through Sunday.
