New school year begins this week for Navarro ISD

(Geronimo) -- It's back to hitting the books for the Navarro ISD. Today marks the first day of school for students in Geronimo. Superintendent Dee Carter says the district is preparing for yet another successful school year. She says there is plenty awaiting for this growing district.

Marion ISD students head back to class

(Marion) -- The first school bell of the year rings today for the Marion ISD. Students and staff are headed back to class for the start of the 2018-2019 school year. Superintendent Kelly Walters Lindholm says the district has kept busy preparing for the students' return. She says the entire district is ready for another great year.

Deadline arrives for city of Seguin, school board races in Seguin, Navarro school districts

(Seguin) -- Today is the day to officially file for a place on the ballot during the Nov. 6 General Election. Election day ballots include the city of Seguin, the Seguin ISD and the Navarro ISD.

Seguin ISD puts into place new Matador Family Day tradition

(Seguin) -- Seguin ISD Central Office personnel were hard at work helping teachers prepare their classrooms. The new Matador Family Day effort was rolled out at various campuses on Friday. Central office shut down for the morning so that all employees were able to participate.
