(Seguin) -- Get ready for a Paint Out. The Seguin Art League is calling on artists whether amateur or professional to enter its second annual Painting in the Park, Paint Out contest on Friday followed by a Wet Paint Sale on Saturday during Seguin's Annual Pecan Fest events in downtown Seguin.

(Seguin) -- The horns are on their way up for this year's 32nd Annual Buck Fever. The event is slated for tonight and Thursday from 5:30 to 10 p.m. at the Seguin Coliseum. Buck Fever President Rodney Bargfrede says the committee is excited to again offer this celebration of the great outdoors.

Seguin PD makes an impact in 74 Hoover Crips gang narcotic activity; Approximately $85,000 worth of drugs off local streets, three arrested

(Seguin) --  Three men are behind bars following an extensive investigation into the drug distributions of the 74 Hoover Crips gang. That's according to officials with the Seguin Police Department Special Crimes Unit, which recently obtained a narcotics search warrant for a home located in the 500 block of Avenue C.

(Geronimo) – Navarro overcame an abysmal start to Tuesday’s regular season finale against the second-ranked 4A volleyball team in the state to outlast La Vernia in five sets and claim a share of the District 27-4A championship at the Navarro Events Center in Geronimo.

(Dripping Springs) – Seguin volleyball finds itself in a three-way tie for second place with Kerrville-Tivy and Boerne-Champion in the final District 26-5A standings after dropping Tuesday’s road match to Dripping Springs 3-1 on the final night of the regular season., but the Matadors will still end up with the No. 2 playoff seed as a result of a points-based tiebreak procedure.

Marion volleyball falls to Schulenburg, finishes 2nd in 27-3A

(Schulenburg)- Marion wrapped up the District 27-3A volleyball regular season Tuesday with a 3-0 road loss to Schulenburg, falling by finals of 25-17, 25-15, and 25-17.
