Annual Family Physics Night 2017 set for tonight

(Seguin) -- TLU's annual Family Physics Night will no doubt be full of energy. The Texas Lutheran Physics Department and Society of Physics Students are again gearing up for a night full of interactive physics demonstrations to celebrate the Physics of Energy.

(Seguin) -- Get ready to feast over a night of improv. Tickets are still available for this Saturday's Seguin High School's Drama Boosters improvisational theater show. The show featuring unlimited desserts and gourmet coffee will be showcased in the new Performing Art Center's black box.

(Seguin) -- Suggesting a way to improve or celebrate the Seguin ISD no longer has to be a letter to the editor or a lone post on social media. District officials say they want individuals to go straight to the source for change during one of two community forums scheduled this week with Seguin ISD Superintendent Matthew Gutierrez. The pair of community forums for public input will be held today and Thursday in the Seguin ISD Administrative Offices in Oak Park Mall.

Bingo players look to win designer purse at annual fundraiser

(Seguin) -- Even serious bingo players are ready to forego the cash in order to take home a designer purse. Tickets are now on sale for the annual Guadalupe County Children's Advocacy Center Designer Purse Bingo. The bingo fundraiser will be held from 7 to 9 p.m. Thursday at the Columbus Club of Seguin Hall, formerly the Knights of Columbus Hall.
