Seguin ISD shares proposed strategic plan with school board members

(Seguin) -- The Seguin ISD is unveiling its overall plan or vision to provide an "exceptional" learning environment for all students. The Seguin ISD Board of Trustees Wednesday night reviewed the draft documents found in the district's proposed strategic plan -- a plan designed to be incorporated into each classroom over the next 3 to 5 years.

Seguin gears up for big four day MLK weekend celebration

(Seguin) -- Seguin is gearing up for its annual four day MLK Day weekend celebration. The event celebrates the legacy of slain civil rights leader Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. Most events are free and are being offered and hosted throughout the holiday weekend by the MLK Day Planning Committee.

TLU women fall to No. 24 Trinity, rebound to beat Schreiner 
(Seguin) – The Texas Lutheran women’s basketball team split a pair of Southern Collegiate Athletic Conference home games last weekend, falling to No. 24 Trinity 71-61 on Friday before snapping a four-game losing skid on Saturday with a 74-59 win over Schreiner.

(Geronimo) - The Navarro girls basketball team bounced back from Tuesday's road loss to Gonzales with a thoroughly dominant 90-12 shellacking of Austin-Eastside Memorial Friday evening at the Navarro Events Center in Geronimo.
