(Seguin) -- The Seguin ISD will get a progress report on its partnership with Communities in School of South Central Texas. The report will be provided by the program's site coordinators during tonight's regular meeting of the Seguin ISD Board of Trustees.

AMBER Alert Suspect Fatally Shoots Himself, Child Rescued

(Geronimo) -- The Guadalupe County Sheriff's Office says the suspect in a murder and abduction case is now dead after shooting himself on Sunday.
 
The search for a man who is accused of shooting and killing his estranged wife and then fleeing with their 18 month old child from their San Antonio home ended Sunday morning along a road just north of Geronimo here in Guadalupe County.

Central Park Fountain on its way to being repaired

(Seguin) -- The city wants to bring the fountain in Central Park back to life. The popular fountain has been off for months, but the Seguin City Council on Tuesday approved $65,000 to be used to repair the fountain.

City gives green light to new future subdivision

(Seguin) -- The Seguin City Council has given its blessing to the development of a new subdivision to the built along Cordova Road.
 
The council on Tuesday approved a voluntary annexation plan and a zoning change request that will allow the process to move forward. The development, once completed, could lead to the construction of more than 200 new homes.

TLU women split SCAC road games

(Irving, Colorado Springs) – The Texas Lutheran women’s basketball team opened a Southern Collegiate Athletic Conference road trip with a 58-48 win over the University of Dallas on Friday in Irving, but stumbled on Sunday in Colorado Springs, falling to Colorado College 84-77.

Freshman guard Sebastian Andrade hit the go-ahead jumper with nine seconds remaining as part of a 20-point outing in TLU’s win at Colorado College on Sunday.  
 
(Irving, Colorado Springs) – The Texas Lutheran men’s basketball team snapped a two-game Southern Collegiate Athletic Conference losing skid this past weekend with a pair of conference road wins, rolling past the University of Dallas 68-52 on Friday and edging Colorado College 74-72 on Sunday.
