TLU to dedicate new Weston Center for The Performing Arts

(Seguin) -- After months of construction, Texas Lutheran University Friday afternoon will unveil the official opening of its Caroline Weston Center for The Performing Arts. The project which includes the expansion of Jackson Auditorium creates a new TLU Dramatic Media facility and TLU School of Music.

Drivers urged to obey Move Over/Slow Down law while traveling; Seguin PD issues warning following multiple car collision on I-10

(Seguin) -- The Seguin Police Department is again reminding drivers about a state law -- a law that if all drivers were engaged should not have caused a seven car collision on Interstate 10.

Carlos Contreras, public information officer for the Seguin PD, says the department is bringing awareness to the Texas Department of Public Safety's Move Over/Slow Down law which "requires motorists to move over or slow down when certain vehicles are stopped on the side of the road with emergency lights activated."

TLU to host Reading Round Up for grades K-5th grades

(Seguin) -- TLU is inviting local kids over this Saturday for an afternoon of books, treats and plenty of fun. Ashlie Ford, TLU's director of marketing and communications, says Texas Lutheran University is excited about hosting the children during this weekend's free Reading Round Up.
