Run-off slated in JP 3 race

(Seguin) -- Two of the candidates for Guadalupe County Justice of the Peace Pct. 3 will go head to head during May's Republican Primary Run-Off Election. Both John Terry and Zachary McBride managed to capture enough votes to move on to the deciding election for the Republican nomination.

(Seguin) -- Voters have re-elected Guadalupe County Justice of the Peace Pct. 2 Judge Sheryl Sachtleben. Sachtleben was the top vote getter during Tuesday's March 6 Republican Primary Election. Sachtleben managed to defeat challenger Chris Aviles for the position.

(Tucson, Ariz.) - Ninth-ranked Texas Lutheran completed a 5-1 run through the National Fastpitch Coaches Association Leadoff Classic with a 14-4 victory over No. 24 Babson (Mass.) and a 5-0 loss to defending NCAA Division III champion and No. 1-ranked Virginia Wesleyan on Sunday.

(Seguin) - Texax Lutheran Baseball swept week five's Southern Collegiate Athletic Conference Player of the Week awards as the conference announced Keaton Boysen as the Hitter of the Week and Dylan Drgac as Pitcher of the Week for games played through Sunday.
