Citizens choose Park West for name of new community park
(Seguin) -- Seguin's new community park will be called Park West.  The name was unveiled during Tuesday's meeting of the Seguin City Council.  Park West was the top vote getter among the four final names as part of a "Name the Park" contest hosted by the city's public information office.  Public Information Officer Scott Packard says they were very pleased with all the participation in the contest.

City to host annual Fall Clean-Up Day
(Seguin) -- Got junk? The city of Seguin will be doing its part this weekend to help you get rid of any unwanted items. That's according to City Spokesperson Scott Packard who says the city will be busy collecting items during its 2014 Fall Clean-Up Day scheduled for this Saturday.
