Seguin Public Library to host Mini Comic Con

(Seguin) -- Heroes, fantasies, gaming and everything comics will be under one roof this weekend as the Seguin Public Library gives folks a taste of the pop culture phenomenon better known as Comic-Con. That taste, however, come with the hosting of a Mini Con and Cosplay contest this Saturday from 1 to 4 p.m.

Seguin Public Library helps kids check out a new Halloween costume

(Seguin) -- Last year's ghost might just be this year's vampire and that’s all thanks to today's Costume Exchange at the Seguin Public Library. Hannah Farmer, youth services librarian, says kids up to the age of 12 are invited to donate one of their gently used costumes in exchange for another one during today's costume swap.

Library to host Stuffed Animal Sleepover, Pajama Storytime

(Seguin) -- Local children are invited to bring their favorite stuffed pal to the library for a special Pajama Sleepover. The Seguin Public Library is again doing its part to encourage the love of reading by hosting its first ever Stuffed Animal Sleepover & Pajama Storytime. The storytime is for the kids, and the sleepover is for the stuffed animals that they will leave behind.

Grease Is The Word tonight at the Seguin Public Library; Interactive movie night set for Friday plus Mariachi story time on Saturday

(Seguin) -- "You're the One That We Want!" That's the Seguin Public Library's invitation for today's Grease Interactive Movie Night. The movie sing-a-long event for adults plus a Mariachi performance and children's book reading on Saturday are the next scheduled events for the library's Adult and Children's Summer Reading Program. This year's theme is "Libraries Rock!"

Singing Zoologist to perform at Public Library

(Seguin) -- Kids are invited to come out and get excited about reading with the help of Lucas Miller, The Singing Zoologist. Miller known for his "infectious blend of humor, music and education" is set to "Rock" the Seguin Public Library during today's presentation.
