(Seguin) -- Some dog owners in the city of Seguin are being asked to do more to take care of their pets. The Seguin City Council recently approved a new ordinance that essentially brings an end of the practice of leaving a dog tied up outside, without proper care and comfort for the animal. More |

(Seguin) -- There's officially a new member on the Seguin City Council. Seguin Mayor Don Keil recently administered the Oath of Office to newly elected council member Jim Lievens. Lievens hit the ground running, and immediately brought up a list of items, based on what he heard on the campaign trail. More |

(Seguin) -- While the community absorbs the sad news of former Councilman Phil Seidenberger's death on Thursday night, the election to find his replacement enters its last day of early voting. Four men are vying to fill Seidenberger's unexpired term. Seidenberger resigned his seat earlier this year due to health concerns. Those on the ballot include Jim Green, Jeremiah Arevalo, Dennis Estes, and Jim Lievens. More |

(Seguin) -- The old, green city of Seguin flag with a picture of the Saffold Dam on it will soon be replaced. Seguin City Council members on last week agreed to a redesign of the new flag. It's really less of a redesign, and more of a commitment the city is making to it's new logo and "It's Real" tag line. More |

(Seguin) -- The Seguin City Council is moving forward with a zoning change that could bring hundreds of new homes to Seguin. Approximately 439 acres located south of FM 725, across from Vogel Elementary School is going from an agricultural ranch zoning to a single family residential zoning designation. More |
