(Seguin) -- Seguin City Manager Doug Faseler is again getting high marks from the Seguin City Council. The council Tuesday voted to give Faseler a four percent salary increase and thanked him for a job well done.

Millions of dollars worth of work underway in Seguin; City tackling more than $50 million worth of projects in FY 18

(Seguin) -- The city of Seguin is investing millions of dollars into the community's aging infrastructure. Everything from roads to water and sewer projects are currently being tackled by the city.
 
City Manager Doug Faseler on Tuesday provided the Seguin City Council with an update on the current projects underway inside the city. Faseler details dozens of projects that have either been started, that have been completed, or that are about to begin this year. He says staff has been busy and the results can be seen all over town.

Seguin celebrates opening of new Utilities Operation Center

(Seguin) -- The city of Seguin is celebrating its recent upgrade -- an upgrade designed to keep the lights on and the water running. The city recently held a ribbon cutting for its new Utilities Operation Center constructed at 3027 N. Austin St. The grand opening ceremony was held for the new 16,000 square foot building designed for not only electric and water but also wastewater and information technology.

(Seguin) -- Seguin Animal Services says its committed to keeping animals in the community safe and well cared for. Morgan Ash, the public information officer, says a new ordinance recently passed by city council adds new protections to our four-legged friends.
