(Seguin) -- Wednesday morning started off pretty early for many as lake levels began to rise in Guadalupe County. The levels began to increase thanks to the heavy pounding of storms that moved through the area.

GBRA hires new general manager; Patteson to replacing retiring West

(Seguin) -- The Guadalupe-Blanco River Authority has announced a new general manager. Kevin Patteson, a former Texas Water Development Board (TWDB) executive administrator, has been appointed to lead the river authority as the new general manager and chief executive officer.

Spill gate inspection to occur at Lakes Dunlap, Placid

(Seguin) -- Caution is advised if you are headed out to area waters this coming week. The Guadalupe-Blanco River Authority’s (GBRA) hydroelectric crew members will perform a washout and inspection of all three spill gates at Lake Dunlap and at both spill gates at Lake Placid beginning Monday, May 4, 2015.
