Amy Innes Tell us why you're running?
"I am running for a position on the Navarro School board because I feel that I am qualified for the position and will work hard to do a good job for the students and community. For the past 16 years, I have been invested in our schools and the community. My children either currently attend Navarro High school or have graduated from Navarro. I have been a president of the PTO, volunteered at all campuses, worked at 2 of the campuses, been active in the Band Boosters, Theater Boosters, supported the Tennis team, served on several committees, and have also been a member of the community Youth Sports League Board. I want to do whatever I can do to improve our schools, support our teachers, and help our community thrive. My last 5 years serving on the Navarro ISD School Board have been a rewarding experience and I believe that I have contributed to the success that led to our board being chosen as the 2016 Honor Board for Region 13."More
