(Seguin) -- A new method for home building is coming to Seguin. Intelligent Building Systems International (IBSI), a global leader in modular home construction, has opened a new production facility in Seguin. The new production line will operate in partnership with the manufacturing capabilities of EPMP, located at 2251 Rudeloff Road.

Regional job fair scheduled Thursday at CTTC; Free transportation offered for those who need a ride to job fair

(Seguin) -- Approximately 50 employers will all be under one roof this Thursday looking to fill immediate openings in a diverse range of job skills.
 
The employers have all been invited to participate in the annual New Braunfels and Seguin Regional Job Fair. The event will be held from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. Thursday at the Central Texas Technology Center located in northern Guadalupe County.

SEDC board continues work to grow local economy; Board's annual meeting sees renewed economic partnerships

(Seguin) -- Building partnerships is helping the Seguin Economic Development Corporation (SEDC) boost the local economy. The SEDC Board of Directors recently held its annual meeting. The board used the meeting to approve several partnerships -- mostly with New Braunfels -- that have proven to be a good thing for local businesses and for the community.

Council approves SEDC's contribution to water tower project; Money will be used to help boost infrastructure for Springs Hill customers near CMC

(Seguin) -- A much needed water infrastructure project is coming to Seguin's extra-territorial jurisdiction.  The Seguin City Council last Tuesday approved a $100,000 expenditure from the Seguin Economic Development Corporation Board of Directors that will allow the money to be contributed toward an elevated water storage tank project near CMC Steel Texas.
