(Seguin) -- Early voting in the Nov. 7 General Election begins today. Guadalupe County Elections Administrator Lisa Adam says casting those ballots early is always encouraged.

(Seguin) -- Today is Election Day. Polls are officially open for the Nov. 4 General Election. Several races will appear on the ballot. Local races include Guadalupe County Commissioner Precinct 2. The Democratic candidate is Mary Louise Gonzales, while the Republican candidate is Jack Shanafelt. The winner of today's contest will replace Commissioner Kyle Kutscher who will be moving over to the county's judge's seat in January.
