Incumbents file for place on Navarro ISD School Board; Filing deadline to challenge trustees ends today
(Geronimo) -- Today marks the deadline for folks to lock in a spot on the Navarro ISD Board of Trustees. At the end of the day Friday, only the four trustees up for re-election had filed for a position on the school board. 

Superintendent Dee Carter says those incumbents include Dr. Greg Gilcrease, Hank Dietert, Donna Gilliam and Rick Martin. 
 
The deadline to file for the at-large seats is 5 p.m. today. Applications are encouraged to be picked up in the Navarro ISD Central Office. The regular Navarro ISD School Board Election will be held on Tuesday, Nov. 4.
