(Seguin) -- In the Seguin ISD, all four seats appearing on the ballot for the November school board election  will have a contested race. The potential for even more candidates is possible today with the filing deadline set for 5 p.m.

In District 2, incumbent Ishmael Flores has filed along with newcomer Charles Loftin.

In District 4, John Holt,  Ann Laird and Dave Gettig have all filed for the school board seat currently held by Trustree Carol Teeple. It's been reported that Teeple has not yet decided whether she'll be running again.

The District 5 race on Friday drew an opponent for Trustee Barbara Effenberger who was among the first to file for re-election. Challenging Effenberger for the seat will be Matthew Skinner.

Finally in District 7, incumbent Nancy Ayotte will look to maintain her seat.  She's drawn two opponents thus far.  They include Caston Casey and Lori Osborne.
