(Seguin) -- Tickets are still available for tonight's 26th Annual Seguin-Guadalupe County Hispanic Chamber of Commerce Awards Banquet. The banquet is being held in conjunction with its hosting of the quarterly meeting of the Texas Association of Mexican-American Chambers of Commerce (TAMACC).
The statewide leaders, involved in the business organization, are expected to be a part of tonight's banquet in which business and community leaders will be recognized for their contributions and leadership in Seguin.
Several awards will be presented throughout the evening. A special performance is also slated for tonight featuring the music of Grammy Award Winner Stefani Montiel.
The event will include a social hour at 6 p.m. Dinner is slated for 7 p.m.
TAMACC is the umbrella organization for 25 plus local Hispanic Chambers of Commerce extending throughout Texas and Oklahoma. As part of its quarterly meeting in Seguin, the organization will be offering several free business workshops this morning at the Seguin-Guadalupe County Coliseum. The workshops will run from 9 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. Sessions include Sales and Networking for Small Business, the Affordable Care Act, Marketing and Board of Directors and Staff Responsibilities in Running an Effective Chamber or Organization.
Tickets are $25 each and can be purchased at JP's Qwik Stop, the Seguin Area Chamber of Commerce, the Seguin-Guadalupe County Hispanic Chamber of Commerce and at Seguin Radio KWED.
