(Seguin) -- The Seguin ISD Board of Trustees will spend their lunch hour today deciding the future representation for District 7. The agenda calls for the "deliberation regarding potential appointment for the position of Seguin ISD Trustee for Single Member District 7."
Trustees are expected to deliberate behind closed doors. Any official action will have to be taken in open session. Following the possible appointment, the agenda also allows for the swearing in and oath of office for the newly appointed trustee.
As reported earlier, trustees, last Tuesday, met behind closed doors to deliberate an appointment between Glenda Moreno, a former Seguin ISD school principal and Louis Ramirez, the president of the Seguin-Guadalupe County Hispanic Chamber of Commerce.
The two individuals met the required deadline to apply for consideration. However after some time behind closed doors, the board announced that it was not ready to make a decision.
Whoever is selected will replaced former Trustee Nancy Ayotte who resigned in August due to illness.
The special meeting is set for noon Friday in the Seguin ISD Board Room located inside of Oak Park Mall.
