(Seguin) -- A mother and her adult son were killed in an apparant double homicide Sunday morning in Seguin. Deputy Police Chief Bruce Ure says the murders occurred before daybreak on Sunday morning in the 500 block of East Baxter Street.
The victims have been identified as 64-year old Belinda Sauceda, and her son, 30-year old Jeremy Sauceda.
The department released some additional information Sunday afternoon. They say during a canvass of the street, they learned that at approximately 2:15 Sunday morning, well before the shooting, neighbors reported "loud banging" on residences located on the same street.
Ure says there's not much else that can be released about the case at this time, and detectives continue to investigate the case.
Again, the 64-year old victim has been identified as Belinda Sauceda, and the 30-year old victim has been identified as her son, Jeremy Sauceda. They were both shot and killed in an incident Sunday in the 500 block of East Baxter Street. We will have more on this story as it becomes available.
