(Seguin) -- If you enjoy live theater, this is your final weekend to check out the Texas Theatre's latest live production. The playhouse is offering the comedy Moon Over Buffalo. Audiences loved the opening weekend, and there are only three shows left.
Sheila Lucas is the shows director says they've assembled a talented cast to perfectly deliver the comedic timing necessary for such a fast paced show. The storyline happens to be based on a pair of fading actors looking for another shot at stardom in the 1950s.
Cast members Mary Jane Windle and Bill Keller are veteran actors, and they've been challenged with their leading roles. The roles include some sword play in the comedy, and both say it's been fun getting prepared for that part of the show.
Friday and Saturday night shows begins at 7 p.m., and there will be a 2:30 p.m. matinee on Sunday. Tickets are $15 pre-sale or $20 at the door. Tickets can be purchased in advance at Gift & Gourmet, Keepers, the Seguin Area Chamber of Commerce or online at thetexas.org.
