(Seguin) -- The names of the five victims involved in a pair of head-on crashes over the weekend have been released.

Killed during the Friday night accident at the Guadalupe River Bridge on FM 466 were Melissa Joslyn, 42 and Patricia Martinez, 36. Joslyn and Martinez, both of Seguin, were the drivers of their respective vehicles. Sgt. Deon Cockrell of the Texas Department of Public Safety says troopers responded to the crash at around 7 p.m.

He says a 1992 Chevrolet Lumina, driven by Joslyn, was traveling northbound on FM 466 south of the Guadalupe River Bridge near mile post 530 when for unknown reasons, crossed the solid double yellow lines and into the southbound lane -- striking a 2011 Kia Soul head on. Martinez, the driver of the Kia, was transported to Guadalupe Regional Medical Center where she later died. Joslyn was pronounced dead at the scene.

A passenger in the Kia, identified as Agustin Martinez, 37, from Seguin, was taken by EMS to San Antonio Military Medical Center in San Antonio. Officials say he suffered serious injuries.

The second deadly accident involving two vehicles also claimed the lives of a father and son and a man from San Antonio.

The father and son, who were riding in a Toyota Venza, have been identified as Ramon Caballero Sr., 84 of Seguin and Ramon Caballero, 59, of Austin. The driver of the second vehicle, an Oldsmobile Alero, was Walter Gramby, 69, of San Antonio.

Seguin Police officers say the accident was reported at 11:30 a.m. Saturday in the 2600 block of FM 464 on the IH-10 overpass. They report that the Toyota SUV -- after colliding head-on with the Oldsmobile Alero -- came crashing down off the bridge approximately 20 feet.

The drivers of both vehicles died at the scene. Caballero Sr. was later pronounced dead after being transported to Guadalupe Regional Medical Center.

Officials say investigation into both weekend crashes remain under investigation.
