(Guadalupe County) -- The Texas Department of Public Safety is seeking the public's help in hopes of identifying those responsible for reportedly striking and seriously injuring a 17-year-old male in September.
DPS Sgt. Deon Cockrell, says investigation continues in the Sept. 17 auto-pedestrian crash reported sometime between 8:05 and 8:35 p.m. along Lower Seguin Road at Red Oak Trail located on the county's west end south of
Sgt. Cockrell says DPS has teamed up with Guadalupe Crime Stoppers in hopes of solving this case.
"The preliminary investigation indicates that the victim was walking eastbound on Lower Seguin Road when he was struck by a vehicle, which ultimately left the scene," said Cockrell.
Cockrell says the victim, whose name is not being released, reportedly suffered serious injuries from being hit by the vehicle and was transported to an area hospital.
