(Seguin) -- Family violence has led to one person being shot. Seguin Police officials say the shooting was reported just before 5 a.m. Monday. Seguin Police officers were dispatched to the 600 block of East Donegan St. for a domestic disturbance with reported shots fired. Upon arrival, officers say they located a female in her late 20's and her 37-year-old husband.
The male is said to have suffered a non-life threatening gunshot wound to his upper arm and chest. Both individuals confirmed that the female had shot the male once with a handgun during an argument and physical altercation.
The injured male was transported to Guadalupe Regional Medical Center (GRMC) by Seguin Fire EMS and ultimately transferred to San Antonio Military Medical Center (SAMMC) in San Antonio.
Seguin Police Detectives say the investigation to this incident remains open and active.
