(Kansas City, Missouri) -- Members of the Guadalupe County 4-H Club have earned national honors. The Guadalupe County 4-H Meats Judging Team finished first and won the 2018 National 4-H Meat Evaluation & Identification Contest.
The contest, sponsored by the American Meat Science Association, was held last week on Tuesday at Kansas State University in Manhattan, Kansas. The award ceremony was held Wednesday as part of the American Royal Livestock Show in Kansas City, Missouri.
The team members include Caleb Kunde, Megan Burgess, Mady Schulze and Campbell Pascua. Team members also brought home several individual awards during the competition.
