(Seguin) -- The National Weather Service on Tuesday confirmed that a tornado did in fact hit Guadalupe County south of Seguin in the 17,000 block of State Hwy 123.
Patrick Pinder, Guadalupe County's fire marshal/emergency management coordinator, says the tornado was classified as an EF-0 with winds up to 85 mph. The tornado was approximately 75 yards wide and its path length was about .23 miles long. He says there were no injuries reported at this time. Pinder says he is asking that if people live in this area and have not yet reported damage to be sure to contact his office as soon as possible.
Pinder says his office will be out speaking with property owners over the next few days who were in the path of the tornado. Pinder's office can be reached at 830-303-8856 or via email at firstname.lastname@example.org
