The Navarro 7-on-7 football team is making its first ever appearance at the Division II StateTournament in College Station today. The Panthers advanced to state out of the Wimberley qualifier in early June. Marion’s 7-on-7 team also qualified for the Division II State Tournament, advancing out of the Central Catholic qualifier in late June. Navarro’s pool also includes Chapel Hill, Stafford, and West, while Marion competes in a pool with Brownwood, Rockdale, and Canton. Pool play games are Thursday on the Texas A&M campus, and teams that advance out of their pools will compete in bracket play on Friday.
