Life After Loss
The Emanuel's Lutheran Church will offer a Life After Loss six-week grief and support educational series from 3 to 5 p.m. Sunday, Jan. 7 through Sunday, Feb. 11 in the Family Life Center located at 206 N. Travis St. in Seguin. For more information call 830-379-5046.

Alcoholics Anonymous
The Seguin Primary Purpose Group of Alcoholics Anonymous meets at 7 p.m. Sundays, Tuesdays, and Thursdays at the St. Andrews Episcopal Church located at 315 S. Crockett St. in Seguin. For more information call 830-386-0334.

Men's Bible Study Group
A Men's Bible Study Group meets every Tuesday from 7 to 8 a.m. in the Cascades Cafe of the Guadalupe Region Medical Center. The Bible Study is open to all men interested in learning more about the Bible and how to apply it's teachings to life today. For more information call Bob Sebesta at 830-372-1397.

Evening Prayer Time
The Faith Lutheran Church located at 1326 E. Cedar St. in Seguin offers evening prayer time on Tuesdays at 5:30 p.m. in the sanctuary. This is an informal time of prayer where people can pray aloud or silently.

Alzheimer's Support Group
The First United Methodist Church offers an Alzheimer’s Support Group to caregivers of Alzheimer’s and Dementia patients on the 2nd Tuesday of the month in the First United Methodist Church Parlor located at 710 N. Austin Street in Seguin.

GriefShare Support Group
There will be GriefShare seminars and a support group for people experiencing grief and loss from 6 to 8 p.m. on Fridays at New Braunfels Bible church located at 652 Loop 337 in New Braunfels. For more information call 830-624-8288 or 210-275-4888.

Seguin Prayer & Bible Ministry
The inter-denominational Seguin Prayer & Bible Ministry meets at 5 p.m. each Saturday at the Silver Center.

    The military is investigating what caused a vintage fighter jet to slam into the ocean off the coast of Hawaii Wednesday during a training exercise with the Hawaii Air National Guard. The pilot, a civilian contractor, safely ejected from the plane seconds before it crashed but is in serious condition after suffering traumatic injuries. Vladimir Duthiers reports.
  • Lanny Davis on Michael Cohen's credibility
    Michael Cohen, President Trump's former attorney and fixer, was sentenced to three years in prison Wednesday after pleading guilty to financial fraud and campaign finance charges. Lanny Davis, a communications adviser to Cohen, joins "CBS This Morning" to discuss Cohen's cooperation with the special counsel Russia probe and his sentencing.
  • Mom of missing Colorado woman speaks out
    The mother of a missing Colorado woman is revealing information about the day her daughter vanished. No one has reported seeing Kelsey Berreth since her fiance picked up their 1-year-old daughter three weeks ago. Police consider it a missing persons case and haven't named any suspects. Nikki Battiste reports.
