Lenten Lunch with Friends
The Christ Lutheran Church of Elm Creek will have Wednesday Lenten Lunch with Friends at 11:30 a.m. Feb. 21, 28, March 7, 14, and 21. There will be lunch and a Lenten Gospel Story presented by Pastor Bonnie with interactive conversation.

Wednesday Evening Lenten Worship
The Christ Lutheran Church of Elm Creek will have Wednesday Evening Lenten Worship at 7 p.m. Feb. 21, 28, March 7, 14, and 21. The liturgical Lenten evening worships will be led by "The Chickletts," Holden Village Prayer, written by Marty Haugen.

Whole Food Plant Based Info Session
There will be a Whole Food Plant Based Info Session from 6 to 8 p.m. Thursday, Feb. 22 in Heirholzer Hall of the First United Methodist Church. The program will be on heart disease. There will also be a whole food plant based potluck meal. For more information email vicki78155@gmail.com.

Fish Dinner sale
The Christian Fellowship Baptist Church will have a Fish Dinner Sale from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. Friday, Feb. 23 at 926 Eighth St. in Seguin. Plates are $8. Delivery is available for three plates or more.

Gospel Musical
The Christian Fellowship Baptist Church will have a Gospel Musical featuring, "Power" from Beaumont and Humble Vessels in Motion from Houston at 4 p.m. Saturday, Feb. 24. There will also be other entertainment groups and soloist from surrounding areas.

National Women's Day Celebration
Women of Faith will celebrate National Women's Day at 10:45 a.m. Sunday, Feb. 25 at First Latin Assembly of God located at 806 N. Camp St. in Seguin. Seguin, The guest speaker will be Marina Razo.

Anniversary Celebration
The Christ Lutheran Church of Elm Creek will have its 132nd Anniversary Celebration from 11:30 a.m. to 2 p.m. Sunday Feb. 25 under a large heated tent. BBQ brisket and homemade sausage will all the trimmings will be available for $9. There will also be homemade goodies, live auction, silent auction, country store, live music by Litt'l Fisherman, bouncy house, cake walk, and raffle.

Faith Lutheran Preschool Fundraiser
The Faith Lutheran Preschool will have its first fundraiser featuring a Chili Cook Off, Silent Auction, and Preschool Art Show at 11:30 a.m. Sunday, Feb. 25 in the Life Enrichment Center. There is a $25 entry fee per team. Proceeds benefit the new full-time Two year old class. For more information call Sharon Stollewerk at 830-379-7074.

Church Anniversary Celebration
The Greater Pilgrim Rest Baptist will Celebrate its 83rd Church Anniversary at 3 p.m. Feb. 25. The guests will be Rev Andrew Roberts and the Eastwood Community Baptist Church of San Antonio.

Lent Fish Fry & Bake Sale
The St. John Lutheran Church will have its Lent Fish Fry & Bake Sale from 5 to 9 p.m. Friday, March 2 at 600 S. Center St. (FM 465) in Marion. Plates are $10 and includes fish, fries, hush puppies, coleslaw, and green beans.

BBQ Plate Sale
The I Am Redeemed Bible Church will have a BBQ Plate Sale from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. Saturday, March 3 at 117 S. Guadalupe St. in Seguin. Chicken, sausage, potato salad, pinto beans, slice of cake, bread, soda, and all trimmings plates are $8. For more information call 210-422-0879.

Annual Fish Fry
The Our Lady of Guadalupe Catholic Church will sell its fish plates from 5 to 7:30 p.m. every Friday of Lent .

Mid-week Lenten Suppers and Services
The Faith Lutheran Church will serve a light supper at 6 p.m. in the Life Enrichment Center (gym) located at 1326 East Cedar St. in Seguin, followed by Lenten services at 7 p.m. each Wednesday in Lent, through March 21. Pastor Jim Craver will present the series “The Seven Last Statements Jesus Made from the Cross.”

Lenten Services
The Grace Lutheran Church will continues the Lenten season with the theme, "Return from Exile - A Lenten Journey," with Wednesday services at 7 p.m. at 935 E. Mountain St. in Seguin.

Maundy Thursday Service
The Christ Lutheran Church of Elm Creek will have a Maundy Thursday service at 7 p.m. Thursday, March 29. There will be a reenactment of the Lord's Supper, a celebration of Holy Communion, and the stripping of the altar.

Good Friday Worship
The Christ Lutheran Church of Elm Creek will have Good Friday traditional liturgical worship accompanied by the organ at 11:30 a.m. and 7 p.m. Friday, March 30.

Easter Worship
The Christ Lutheran Church of Elm Creek will have Easter Worship at 6:30 a.m. and 9 a.m. Sunday, April 1. There will be a pancake and sausage breakfast between services and an Easter egg hunt and children's activities between services.

Soles for Souls 3k/5K
The Sweet Canaan Baptist Church will have a Soles for Souls 3K/5K Walk Run Fundraiser at 8 a.m. Saturday, April 7 at 4140 Prairie Lea Road in Kingsbury. The entry fee is $10 without t-shirt and $20 with t-shirt. T-shirts only available with early registration. Register online at www.sweetcanaanbc-kingsbury.org. For more information call 210-709-3017

    The mother of a missing Colorado woman is revealing information about the day her daughter vanished. No one has reported seeing Kelsey Berreth since her fiance picked up their 1-year-old daughter three weeks ago. Police consider it a missing persons case and haven't named any suspects.
