Life After Loss
There will be a six-week Life After Loss series from 3 to 5 p.m. Sundays, Jan. 13 through Sunday, Feb. 17 in the Family Life Center at Emanuel's Lutheran Church located at 206 N. Travis St. in Seguin. Attending all six sessions is most beneficial, therefore no new participants are accepted after the second session.

Youth Worship Night & Lock-In
The Faith Lutheran Church will have a free Youth Worship Night & Lock-in for youth grades 6 through 12 beginning at 7 p.m. Friday, Jan. 18 through Saturday, Jan. 19 at 1326 E. Cedar St. in Seguin. Bluegrass Gospel Service
The Sieker Band of Austin will lead a Bluegrass Gospel service at 9 a.m. Sunday, Jan. 20 in the sanctuary of Faith Lutheran Church located at 1326 E. Cedar St. in Seguin.

Exclusive Screening
The Faith Lutheran Church will host an exclusive private screening of “Gosnell: The Trial of America’s Biggest Serial Killer,” directed by Nick Searcy at 1 p.m. and 5 p.m. Sunday, Jan. 20 in the gym at 1326 E. Cedar St. in Seguin. The movie is based on real events, detailing the rise and ultimate fall of Dr. Kermit Gosnell, an abortion doctor who operated a clinic out of Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. Refreshments will be available. A free will offering will benefit the South Texas Pregnancy Care Center.

MLK Gospel Choirs and Group Singing
There will me Gospel Choirs and Group Singing as part of the Annual Observance of Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. at 7 p.m. Sunday, Jan. 20 at the First Baptist Church located at 1314 E. Cedar St. in Seguin. For more information call 830-481-6791 or visit

Dominoes Anyone?
The Faith Lutheran is beginning a new outreach ministry featuring dominoes, Bible study, and fellowship at 1 p.m. Thursday, Jan. 24 at 1326 E. Cedar St. There will be snacks, devotion and dominoes. Moon, 42 and straight dominoes will be played. For more information call Pastor Jim at 379-7036.

Rummage/Garage/Craft Sale
The Hillcrest Assembly of God Church will have its Annual Rummage/Garage/Craft Sale from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. Saturday, Feb. 2. at 1440 Eastwood Dr. There will be over 30 booths. Breakfast and lunch will be served.

Free Bible Course
The World Bible School is offering free Bible correspondence courses. Answer questions from the Bible and send in for grading. Visit for further information.

Grief Support
The New Hope Missionary Baptist Church will offer Healing Our Hearts Together by the Power of Prayer for those experiencing a loss or grief. The group will meet every 1st Monday of each month from 1 to 2 p.m. in the Fellowship Hall located at 702 Campbell St. in Seguin. For more information contact Pastor, Oscar L.
