Bible Study Series
The Grace Family Bible Church will offer a six-week Bible Study Series: The Unclean Spirits, with Bro. Oktoberfest/Hurricane Harvey Relief.
The Triumphant Lutheran Church will have its Annual Oktoberfest from 4 to 8 p.m. Saturday, Oct. 14 at 21315 Bat Cave Road in Garden Ridge. Featured are homemade brisket and sausage meals at $10 for adults and $5 for children 12 and under. There will be live music by the Bohemian Dutchmen, and children’s activities and two auctions. Women of Worth
There will be a Women of Worth Women's Conference from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. Saturday, Oct. 21 at Second Baptist Church. The theme is "Standing on God's Promises." Registration will be held from 8 to 8:45 a.m. The featured speakers are Minister Paula King-Harper, Sis. Sheila Roberts, and Sis. Linda Shuler. The Faith Lutheran Church located at 1326 E. Cedar St. in Seguin offers evening prayer time on Tuesdays at 5:30 p.m. in the sanctuary. This is an informal time of prayer where people can pray aloud or silently.
Alzheimer's Support Group
The First United Methodist Church offers an Alzheimer’s Support Group to caregivers of Alzheimer’s and Dementia patients on the 2nd Tuesday of the month in the First United Methodist Church Parlor located at 710 N. Austin Street in Seguin.
Parents Helping Parents
Parents Helping Parents provides parents with information, guidance and support every Wednesday from 5:30 to 7 p.m. at First Presbyterian Church located at the corner of King St. and Walnut St. in Seguin. The program begins with a light meal at 5:30 p.m. A nursery and programs for children and youth is also provided.
