Chad Preston Eicher passed away on August 7, 2017 in his 42nd year, Chad was called home.
He entered this world on January 24, 1975 on a cold winters night in Hampton, Virginia and left us on one of the hottest days in Jacksonville Florida. His parents welcomed him into their Navy family and began moving around, allowing him to be able to do a lot of things most kids only dreamed about. Chad settled in Florida, running his own detailing business, remodeling homes and generally being a jack-of-all-trades, always striving to be "somebody". He was definitely that to his two dog babies, Tigger and Moseby and a blessing to many neighbors who depend on him for a lot of their needs. Chad became limited by his health problems, but was still good at everything he did. He was a very special "somebody" to his mom, Annette Eicher and friend, Kim Grimm of Seguin; dad, Larry and step-mom, Cheryl Eicher of Jacksonville, Florida; brother, Brent Eicher of Seguin; sister, Lindsey O'Neal of Fernandina Beach, Florida; nephews, Douglas and Joe; niece, Elizabeth of Fernandina Beach, Florida; grandmother, Margo Trost of Seguin and numerous aunts, uncles, cousins and good friends. A celebration of life will be held 2 p.m. on Saturday, August 26 at First United Methodist Church in the Christian Life Center, 710 N. Austin St. A private burial will be held at a later date. In lieu of flowers, the family would appreciate any donations sent to the Multiple Sclerosis Society, your local animal shelter or any charity of your choice. Another celebration will be held in Chad's memory in Jacksonville, Florida on September 3 in attendance will be Tigger and Moseby.
