Scripture: The earth is the LORD’S, and the fulness thereof; the world, and they that dwell therein. 2 For he hath founded it upon the seas, and established it upon the floods. 3 Who shall ascend into the hill of the LORD? or who shall stand in his holy place? 4 He that hath clean hands, and a pure heart; who hath not lifted up his soul unto vanity, nor sworn deceitfully. 5 He shall receive the blessing from the LORD, and righteousness from the God of his salvation.  Psalms 24: 1-5

Walter M Taylor was born April 29, 1953 to Rayfield Sr. and Mirlleen Taylor in Gonzales, Texas.

He accepted Christ as his Savior at a very young age and was baptized. Walter served as a Deacon for 29 years and also sung in the male chorus at Saint James Missionary Baptist Church where he attended until he no longer could.  He graduated from Gonzales High School in 1971 and lived in Gonzales his entire life. Walter was employed with Commercial Metals Company (SMI) as a Crain Operator from 1973 until he retired in 2005. He was united in marriage to Alice M Ragland in Cuero Texas on November 26th 1977. Walter Taylor was a man of few words but when he spoke his words always gave knowledge, laughter and a smile. The best gift he had and would give was the WORD.
