What is your current occupation (or where do you attend school), and what does that involve?
"I am a “stay-at-home” Mom to two beautiful teen daughters, one handsome and successful step-son, and Wife to a terrific guy, Brian McAnulty. In that position, I am responsible for many different roles, including, but, not limited to: emergency and non-emergency medicine, conflict resolution, private and confidential counseling in all matters of life, spirit, and social issues, food purchasing, distribution and preparation, chief sanitation and clean-up officer, travel agent and itinerary specialist, fashion and costume designer, Head Coach and cheerleader, motivational speaker, mentor, debate moderator, Chief Justice and law enforcement officer, motor vehicle driving and safety instructor, professor of education and private tutoring – specializing in quality assurance and high aptitude goal setting with a focus on college readiness, health and physical fitness guru, and chief executive officer of a multi-level, multi-dimensional – growth generating organization of potential greatness, plus, of course, owner and operator of a thriving personal development and LOVE enterprise, which, by the way, is a fully funded non-profit endeavor! "

"Laugh… or sleep… either of the two are equally rewarding."

"Husband – Brian, Son – Thomas, Daughter – Briley, Daughter – Bailey"
What is the biggest challenge you’ve ever faced?
"Raising children, dedicating my life to them and then finding the courage to trust that I’ve done a good job. Oh, and M&M’s… deciding between plain and peanuts, is always a challenge!"
What is your favorite TV show and movie?
"Favorite TV show – Well, it used to be The Walking Dead, but I am so upset over them “killing off” my third favorite character, that I may not watch it anymore. Movie – “As God is my witness… I shall never go hungry again!” Gotta love…Gone With the Wind!"
What type of music do you enjoy (favorite band, song, etc…)?
"Seguin Matador Band Music! All of it! Every Piece! Every Movement! But, especially the ‘Fight Song’… “Hey Matadors, FIGHT FIGHT FIGHT!”"
What is your favorite Seguin business and restaurant?
"That’s an unfair question, because I can be easily bribed by those businesses and restaurants that support the Matador Band Program, obviously, they’re my favorites!"
What is something folks may not really know about you?
"Before moving to Texas, I was a Concert Promotor, Producer and Event Coordinator."
If you could assemble a dinner party with any five guests (living or dead) -excluding immediate living family members - who would they be?
"Jesus – Because…Who wouldn’t want to hear the half that’s never been told? And, any four atheists."
What are your roles in the community?
"Volunteering and promoting the outstanding opportunities available to our youth through Band, Sports, Theater Arts, 4-H and so many other organizations."
Discuss your professional background/achievements/leadership roles.
"I’ve mentioned them briefly already, however, I would like to add that I am VP of Events for the Matador Band Boosters and…with a wink and a nod… I want to say, we have a HUGE Concert event coming up on November 10th at the Seguin Coliseum with raffles, silent auctions and a ‘Live’ auction, as well. Free Admission! BBQ meal tickets are just $10. Ya’ll come on out and support the Mighty Matador Band!"
What are the proudest moments in your personal life or in your career?
"Holding my husband’s hand while watching our kids go on and on about anything and everything."
What do you believe are the strengths of this community?
"Faith, Family and Friends and the best pecans in the whole wide world."
What do you find as the most interesting thing about Seguin?
"The most interesting thing about Seguin is that…Seguin is REAL… REAL Life… REAL Simple… REAL Good!"
What are your future plans?
"I plan on going to the store in just a minute to get some M&M’s, because it’s all I’ve been thinking about since I mentioned it earlier. I’m not sure though, if I’ll get Plain or Peanut… Probably… BOTH!"
