What is your current occupation (school) and what does that involve?
"I'm currently Assistant Manager at Toledo Finance at 550 N. State
Hwy. 123 Bypass Suite 142. I specialize in helping my customers and future
customers in finding solutions to their financial needs and co-
owner of Mark's Custom Designs."
 
What do you do off the clock “Just for fun?”
"I love spending time with my four grand daughters."
 
What city and state were you born?
"Seguin, Texas"
 
Who are the members of your immediate family?
"My husband Mark we have been married 19 years. My son David 29,
(Teresa) his three daughters. My son Christopher, 27, his daughter
and my soon to be daughter in law Julie. My son Mark 19 (Dana), and
his precious baby girl on the way and my daughter Miranda."
 
What is the biggest challenge you’ve ever faced?
"The death of my father."
 
What is your favorite TV show and movie?
"Favorite TV shows are Empire and Nashville, my favorite movies
are Pretty Woman and Ms. Congeniality"
 
What type of music do you enjoy (favorite band, song, etc.)?
"I love all types of music, my favorite artists are Reba
McEntire, Joe Lopez, Jimmy Gonzales, Mary J. Blige and Toby Keith."
 
What is your favorite Seguin business and restaurant in Seguin?
"My favorite restaurant is Dixie Grill and of course my job Toledo
Finance as my favorite Seguin business."
 
What are your professional background/achievements/leadership roles?
"I'm a proud Seguin Matador Alumni I graduated in 1986 in school I
played volleyball and gold battalion. I worked at Motorola for 13 years
then moved Cash America where I started out as a customer service
representative then to a lead position and became an assistant manger I was with the
company for nine years. I recently started with Toledo Finance in 2016 and I can
honestly say I love my job!"
 
What are your proudest moments in your personal life or in your
career?
"I would say the birth of my children and grand children are the
proudest moments of my life."
 
What do you believe are the strengths of this community?
"Someone is always willing to give a helping hand. I am a band
booster mom and the Mighty Matador Band was invited to play at Carnegie Hall in
New York in March. We had over 100 students attending this event and
through fundraisers and generous donations from the citizens of Seguin we
were able to fund the trip."
 
What are your future plans?
"I'd like to continue my education in business. Also spend as much
time as I can with my grand babies and my family."
 
What message do you have for the residents of Seguin?
"It doesn't cost anything to be nice."
