Prayer Breakfast
The New St. James Baptist Church will have its Something's Bound to Happen When You Pray, Seventeenth Annual Prayer Breakfast from 9 a.m. to noon Saturday, Dec. 2 at 302 AJ Malone Dr. in Seguin. Ticket donation is $10. The keynote speaker will be Sister Elizabeth Holmes of Greater Corrinth Baptist Church of San Antonio.

Christmas Tree Festival
The First Presbyterian Church Seguin will have a free Christmas Tree Festival from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. Saturday, Dec. 2 in its parking lot on located at the corner of King St. and Walnut St. There will be an opportunity to visit with Santa, purchase Christmas trees from the Lions Club, and participate in Christmas Carol Karaoke. There will also be hot cocoa, and Christmas goody bags.

Bible Study
The Clear Springs Initiative, a new United Methodist church start up, will offer a study of Adam Hamilton's DVDs, "Faithful: Christmas Through The Eyes of Joseph", from 4 to 5:30 p.m. Saturdays, Dec. 2 and Dec. 16. Annual Musical
The New Birth Baptist Church will have its Annual Musical at 6 p.m. Saturday, Dec. 2 at Nash Creek Road in Belmont. For more information call 830-424-3519.

Blood Drive
There will be a Blood Drive from 9 a.m. to 1:15 p.m. in the Parish Center of Our Lady of Guadalupe Catholic Church Sunday, Dec. 3. To schedule an appointment or for more information call 830-379-4338.

Piano Recital
There will be a Piano Recital, "A Disney Classic Christmas," at 4 p.m. Sunday, Dec. 3 at the Christian Fellowship Baptist Church located at 926 8th St. in Seguin.

St. Ann's Circle
The St. Ann's Circle will have its monthly meeting at 2 p.m. Wednesday, Dec. 6. The program will be singling Christmas carols in the church with Tom, followed by a meeting in the Family Circle. Refreshments will be served.

Free Bible Courses

Alcoholics Anonymous
The Seguin Primary Purpose Group of Alcoholics Anonymous meets at 7 p.m. Sundays, Tuesdays, and Thursdays at the St. Andrews Episcopal Church located at 315 S. Crockett St. in Seguin. For more information call 830-386-0334.

Men's Bible Study Group
A Men's Bible Study Group meets every Tuesday from 7 to 8 a.m. in the Cascades Cafe of the Guadalupe Region Medical Center. Evening Prayer Time
The Faith Lutheran Church located at 1326 E. Cedar St. in Seguin offers evening prayer time on Tuesdays at 5:30 p.m. in the sanctuary. This is an informal time of prayer where people can pray aloud or silently.

Alzheimer's Support Group
The First United Methodist Church offers an Alzheimer’s Support Group to caregivers of Alzheimer’s and Dementia patients on the 2nd Tuesday of the month in the First United Methodist Church Parlor located at 710 N. Austin Street in Seguin.

GriefShare Support Group
There will be GriefShare seminars and a support group for people experiencing grief and loss from 6 to 8 p.m. on Fridays at New Braunfels Bible church located at 652 Loop 337 in New Braunfels. For more information call 830-624-8288 or 210-275-4888.

Seguin Prayer & Bible Ministry
The inter-denominational Seguin Prayer & Bible Ministry meets at 5 p.m. each Saturday at the Silver Center.
