Free Prayer Breakfast
There will be a Free Prayer Breakfast from 8 a.m. to 11 a.m. Saturday, Feb. 10 at New Hope Baptist Church located at 702 Campbell St. in Seguin.

Prayer Brunch
The Sweet Home Baptist Church will have a "God Is Love" Prayer Brunch at 10 a.m. Saturday, Feb. 10.

BBQ Chicken Sale
The K.C. will sell whole BBQ Chicken after all Masses at St. James from 7 a.m. to 1 p.m. Sunday, Feb. 11. The price for a whole chicken is $7.

Life After Loss
The Emanuel's Lutheran Church will offer a Life After Loss six-week grief and support educational series from 3 to 5 p.m. Sundays through Sunday, Feb. 11 in the Family Life Center located at 206 N. Travis St. in Seguin. For more information call 830-379-5046.

Annual Fish Fry
The Our Lady of Guadalupe Catholic Church will have its Annual Fish Fry from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. and 5 to 7:30 p.m. Wednesday, Feb 14 in the Parish Hall. Plates will be served every Friday of Lent from 5 to 7:30. A drive through will also be available. For those interested in volunteering, call Sandy Carrillo at 830-556-2365.

Ashes-To-Go
The Emanuel's Lutheran Church will have its Ashes-To-Go from noon to 1 p.m. on Ash Wednesday, Feb. 14 in the parking lot of the Habitat for Humanity located at 256 W. Court St. in Seguin. For more information call 830-379-5046.

Ash Wednesday Services
The Faith Lutheran Church will hold will hold Ash Wednesday Services at noon and 7 p.m. Wednesday, Feb. 14 in the sanctuary located at 1326 E. Cedar St. in Seguin. Both services will include imposition of ashes and Holy Communion.

The Grace Lutheran Church (LC/MS) will observe the season of Lent with the theme, "Return from Exile - a Lenten Journey," beginning with an Ash Wednesday Service at 7 p.m. Wednesday, Feb. 14 at 935 E. Mountain St. in Seguin.

The Spirit of Joy Lutheran Church will have its Ash Wednesday Service at 7 p.m. Wednesday, Feb. 14 at the Silver Center located at 510 E Court St. in Seguin.

Mid-week Lenten Suppers and Services
The Faith Lutheran Church will serve a light supper at 6 p.m. in the Life Enrichment Center (gym) located at 1326 East Cedar St. in Seguin, followed by Lenten services at 7 p.m. each Wednesday in Lent, beginning Feb. 21 through March 21. Pastor Jim Craver will present the series “The Seven Last Statements Jesus Made from the Cross.”

Lenten Services

Sweet Heart Program
The Zion Hill Baptist Church will have its Sweet Heart Program at 3 p.m. Sunday, Feb. 18 at 1952 Zion Hill Road. The Gospel Messenger will be Rev. James Cooper of Greater Second Baptist Church in Seguin.

Whole Food Plant Based Info Session
There will be a Whole Food Plant Based Info Session from 6 to 8 p.m. Thursday, Feb. 22 in Heirholzer Hall of the First United Methodist Church. The program will be on heart disease. There will also be a whole food plant based potluck meal. For more information email vicki78155@gmail.com.

Church Anniversary Celebration
The Greater Pilgrim Rest Baptist will Celebrate its 83rd Church Anniversary at 3 p.m. Feb. 25. The guests will be Rev Andrew Roberts and the Eastwood Community Baptist Church of San Antonio.

Soles for Souls 3k/5K
The Sweet Canaan Baptist Church will have a Soles for Souls 3K/5K Walk Run Fundraiser at 8 a.m. Saturday, April 7 at 4140 Prairie Lea Road in Kingsbury.
