Health, Wellness & Resource Fair
The Bethel Pentecostal Church of Christ will host a Health, Wellness & Resource Fair from noon to 5 p.m. Saturday, Sept. 15 at Seguin Youth Services located at 919 N. Guadalupe St. in Seguin. There will be vendors, blood pressure and blood glucose monitoring, free food, clothing, school supplies, and haircuts will also be available. The La Vernia First Baptist Church will welcome the Bluecreek Bluegrass Gospel Band at 6 p.m. Sunday, Sept. 16 at 201 Crews St. in La Vernia. Fellowship and peach cobbler will follow.

St. James Catholic Church Fall Family Festival
The St. James Catholic Church will have its Fall Family Festival from 4 p.m. to midnight Saturday, Sept. 22 and from 11 a.m. to 6 p.m. Sunday, Sept. 23 at the Seguin Events Complex. There will be food booths, live music, dancing, silent & live auctions, gift basket raffles, gift card raffles, car show, cake & salsa competitions, craft booths, country store, talent show, games, petting zoo, BBQ chicken dinner on Sunday, and more. Cake and Salsa Competitions
The St. James Catholic Church will host a Cake Baking Contest and a Salsa Making Contest during its Fall Family Festival at 5:30 p.m. Saturday, Sept. 22 at the Seguin Events Complex. Whole Food Plant Based Potluck
There will be a Whole Food Plant Based potluck from 6 to 8 p.m. Thursday, Sept. 27 in Heirholzer Hall of the First United Methodist Church. The program will be on "Dementia & Alzheimers/What Can You Do?," If you would like to bring a dish to share, remember no animal products.
