KWED Holiday Food and Toy Drive
Seguin Radio, KWED will have its Holiday Food and Toy Drive from 7 to 9 a.m. Friday, Dec. 8 outside the KWED Studios located at 609 E. Court St. in Seguin. Both nonperishable food items and new unwrapped toys will be collected. Monetary donations will also be collected. Donations are also accepted daily at the radio station from 8:30 a.m. to 5 p.m. Monday through Thursday and 8:30 a.m. to 4 p.m. Friday.

Food for Fines
The Seguin Public Library will have a Food for Fines food drive to benefit the Seguin Christian Cupboard from Friday, Dec. 1 through Sunday, Dec. 31. During Food for Fines, library members may donate nonperishable items in lieu of payment for overdue fines. One nonperishable item will be equivalent to up to $2 in fines. No First Friday Feast
The Geronimo Lions will not have its First Friday Feast in December. First Friday Feast will resume Friday, Jan. 5 at the Big Red Barn.

TLU Fair Trade Fair

The Seguin Silver Center Friday night dance will feature the music of Wrangler Country from 7:30 to 11 p.m. Friday, Dec. 1. Jingle Bell Run
The City of Seguin continues to celebrate the holidays with a Jingle Bell Run at 8:30 a.m. (Registration begins at 7 a.m.) Saturday, Dec. 2 in Starcke Park East along the Pecan Bottom Trail. Kingsbury 4-H Fundraisers

Lions Tree Lot Pictures with Santa
The Seguin Sunrise Lions will offer a free opportunity for pictures with Santa from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. Saturday, Dec. 2 at its Tree Lot at the First Presbyterian Church located at King St. and Walnut St. Bring kids, pets and your camera.

Holiday Tour of Homes
The Seguin Conservation Society will have its Annual Holiday Tour of Homes from 1 to 5 p.m. Saturday, Dec. 2. There are eight sites to visit ranging in style from Italianate to Hill Country Contemporary, Victorian Queen Anne to Craftsman Bungalow. Pre-sale tickets are available for $15 at Gift & Gourmet, Keepers Interiors, the Seguin Chamber office and online at thetexas.org. Tickets are $20 the day of the event.

Blood Drive

Sunrise Lions Christmas Tree Fundraiser
The Seguin Sunrise Lions will have its Christmas Tree lot open from 9 a.m. to 8 p.m. Saturdays, noon to 8 p.m. Sundays and from 5:30 to 8 p.m. Mondays through Fridays at the First Presbyterian Church located at King St. and Walnut St. There will be small to 9 foot trees, tree stands, and tree preservative available for purchase. Proceeds benefit Lions scholarships and local charities.

Silver Center Festival of Lights

Guadalupe Lodge/Eastern Star Christmas Party
