Winners named during annual Downtown Scarecrow competition

(Seguin) -- The annual Downtown Scarecrow Competition has become a loved tradition for visitors to downtown Seguin. That's according to Kyle Kramm, the director of the Seguin Main Street and Convention & Visitors Bureau who says the competition encourages businesses to decorate their storefront windows with one of the season's most popular features -- the scarecrow.

Winners announced during this year's Guadalupe County Fair Parade

(Seguin) -- Several groups and businesses helped the celebrate the heritage and tradition of the Guadalupe County Fair and PRCA Rodeo during this year's annual fair parade held in downtown Seguin. Judges were said to have had the tough job of narrowing the votes down to the best of the best. The parade was held Friday morning. The parade traveled south on Austin Street -- coming to an end at the Guadalupe County Fairgrounds.
