(Guadalupe County) -- Guadalupe County Sheriff's Investigators don't want you to fall victim to the latest scam claiming to be from Netflix.

According to Lt. Craig Jones, the scam is reportedly hitting local email boxes. He says the victim gets an email from Netflix claiming that their account has been lost, accidentally deleted or otherwise compromised. He says this email appears to be from Netflix and has a link to click on in the body of the email. If this link is clicked upon, it reportedly takes the victim to what appears to be the Netflix site.
