(Seguin) -- Funding is being put into place for a major project that will allow the city's Walnut Springs Trail to be expanded all the way to Max Starcke Park. The Seguin City Council Tuesday approved an advanced funding agreement with the Texas Department of Transportation for the trail expansion. The agreement will allow the city to begin expending some funds towards that project. More

(Seguin) -- The brakes are officially in motion for the local Meals on Wheels Program. The Aging Senior Nutrition Program operated by the Community Council of South Central Texas has announced its decision to stop the home delivered and congregate meals for dozens of senior citizens 60 years and older. The announcement was publicly shared during Tuesday's meeting of the Guadalupe County Commissioners Court.More

(Seguin) -- The city of Seguin is investing millions of dollars into the community's aging infrastructure. Everything from roads to water and sewer projects are currently being tackled by the city.
City Manager Doug Faseler on Tuesday provided the Seguin City Council with an update on the current projects underway inside the city. Faseler details dozens of projects that have either been started, that have been completed, or that are about to begin this year. He says staff has been busy and the results can be seen all over town.
